Kharkiv: Development and Investment International Conference 2021 - how it was

Kharkiv: Development and Investment International Conference took place at Kharkiv Palace Hotel in Kharkiv on October 6 co-organized by Kharkiv City Council and MINTRANS Media. Let’s see how it was.

The Conference became a platform for cooperation between the state and local authorities and international partners and business representatives with an eye on implementation of joint projects and successful development of Ukraine.

The conference resulted in several agreements entered into and signed. In particular, Kharkiv joined the EBRD’s Green Cities program, which provides for electric transport development, environmental protection and improving of urban environment quality.

Kharkiv signed a memorandum with FL Technics on construction of a maintenance base for airliners. The company, which is a family member of Avia Solutions Group, is to invest about 24 million euros to create a repair service for Boeing-737/Airbus-320 at Kharkiv International Airport.

A memorandum was also signed with Stadler, a Swiss company, on tram fleet renewal.

For the conference guests and representatives of more than ten Ukrainian cities, Stadler held a presentation of the new generation three-section tram with enhanced conditions for comfortable transportation of passengers.
